Day 9 – 2016

A creative day out for the whole family.  We went to a friends house this weekend where we tried some head casting and we made some resin skulls from a mould that the kids then had a go at decorating.

Above is a timelapse sequence of Rach’s head being cast, unfortunately the alginate was a bit thin and we weren’t able to tcreate a full head, and with a bit of tweaking we got a fave impression – with a bit of distortion.

Below is a timelapse of my aborted head being cast.  Two problems here: 1. I paniced, and 2 the alginate does not agree with beards no matter how much vasoline you use!
